Chloride Process Rutile Titanium Dioxide
Our titanium dioxide production base adopts the advanced chloride process technology. It is planned and constructed as a project with an annual capacity of 400,000 tons of chloride-process titanium dioxide, representing a total investment of RMB 9.4 billion. The first phase consists of two 50,000-ton production lines: Line I (50,000 tons) was completed and put into operation in 2019, followed by Line II (another 50,000 tons) in 2021. Since the project became operational, it has fully leveraged the chlorine-alkali resources and utility infrastructure of Tianyuan Group, establishing a circular economy industrial chain featuring complete supporting key resources and high-efficiency resource utilization. At present, products from this series are exported to regions including Asia, Europe, the Americas, and Africa，etc.
